Director of Analytics
The Director of Analytics will be accountable for the overall management of significant projects and programs, including profitability, timeliness, quality, and management of direct reports.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams including statistical, technical and marketing resources. Manage client expectations of delivery and final project sign off. Oversee RA, AC, Statistical and Technical resources in project delivery. Responsible for the quality of the deliverables overseen. Ensure that staff executes instructions accurately and that all number, tables and details within deliverables are correct. Write the deliverable for all the basic analysis offered in a clear and concise fashion, tailoring recommendations to the results and business needs of the client. Translate client business questions into recommended course of analytic analysis. Ability to assess client needs and transfer this knowledge into actionable results. Project lead on larger accounts and multiple project relationships. Provide guidance to team members on relevant analytic techniques and applications, where necessary. Drive account and client communications. Maintain complete documentation for all projects where appropriate. Responsible for designing and managing significant analytic projects. Perform quantitative and qualitative studies for our clients.
Responsible for on-time, on-budget delivery of analytic projects
• Ensure client satisfaction
• Oversee all levels of staff to ensure adequate coverage and project delivery
• Manage client expectations of delivery and project signoff
• Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on analysis findings
• Explore and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell existing clients collaborating with Client Services to assess prospective clients’ needs and craft and present proposals that meet those needs
• Responsible for 1-2 direct reports – providing coaching, mentoring and professional development
Requirements:
• 8-10 years of analytic experience including management of analytic professionals and database marketing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills a must.
• Experience in the credit card industry a plus
• Bachelor or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
