Search Marketing & Optimization Manager
This position is on the fast track for growth. Our client is a major fortune 500 listed firm with a Marketing Services arm that helps regional based, highly profitable business groups meet their online objectives. Candidates for this role will have solid experience in driving traffic to websites along with making recommendations on how to optimize online programs.
Candidates are able to work from their home office 3-4 days a week then on site 1 or 2 days at our clients offices located south of Boston.
- At least three years experience in the planning, creation, placement and optimization of CPC & CPA SEM across multiple search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN/Bing, etc.) with multiple clients with monthly budgets of thousands of dollars each.
- Planning, buying and optimization of CPM, CPA based display/banner advertising rich media with individual publishers and ad networks using geo-targeting, demographic, behavioral and retargeting methods.
- Creation, strategy development, optimization and maintenance of social media (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) campaigns.
- Experience in administering first tier analytics solutions using services such as Omniture, Web Trends, Google analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage dozens of clients and projects seamlessly.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients, colleagues and external partners and build consultative, partnership relationships.
• Plans, creates, maintains and optimizes paid search (SEM) and display (banner) advertising for a pre-assigned list of clients.
• Monitors clients’ budgets regularly to ensure spending is paced correctly and meets budget goals on a monthly and contract basis.
• Optimizes paid search campaigns on a broad set of criteria: CPC, CTR, CPA/CPL, Avg. Position, to deliver optimal results.
• Optimizes display campaigns to deliver high CTR, efficient CPMs and high post impressions activity and conversion.
• Provides regular reporting to clients for all of the above activities.
• Works productively with proprietary and syndicated software tools (DART, DFA, Omniture, etc) to effectively manage dozens of clients simultaneously.
• Communicates effectively with both internal associates within and across teams and external partners and clients to deliver superior performance.
