Marketing Director, Medical Device and Software Solutions Market

Develops and executes the strategic global franchise management plan for a specific market (software solutions) to advance medical device solutions. . Influences the organization by establishing a vision and driving change to support the strategic direction of medical device solutions leadership. Identifies market, opportunities and feasibility of product development including economic analyses on new and improved medical device solutions for the market segment. Develops business models and drives initiatives with internal departments to identify and implement business development projects. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Oversees all aspects of global life cycle management (development to full market release to obsolescence / product rationalization) Contributes to the development of communication strategy, board of directors, investor community, etc. Partners with development teams to drive new market strategies with existing and new product platforms; focuses on inputs to strategy. Partners with General Managers, Business Units to ensure alignment and execution of strategies.

Education and Experience Requirements

- BS/BA required

-MBA or advanced marketing training beneficial

- Minimum 7 yrs progressive related experience (R&D, Product Management, Sales or Marketing) 5+ years progressive marketing experience including medical device software related industry

- International and domestic market experience including franchise management, branding, mergers & acquisitions

- Successful record of accomplishment in product development and commercial marketing preferred.

- Strong presentation skills, collaboration skills, influence management skills and knowledge of developed market models.

- Global experience preferred

- Travel Requirements: 50%
