VP, Corporate Communication & Financial Regulations – Boston
This role involves leading our clients communications to key stakeholders, their clients and internal associates, and key industry trades on key legislative and regulatory developments across the organization affecting our clients range of products, services and financial services regulation in general. Core to this role, is working with government relations team, employer and participant marketing, policy development group, legal, corporate affairs, risk, compliance and other business partners to develop a communication plan and lead the drafting of our Client's positioning in the market.
- Strong persuasive writing skills, knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process. preferably at federal levels, experience in communicating to corporate executives and a natural collaborative nature are keys to success in this role.
- 8-10 years experience in analysis, consulting & developing savings, retirement, and financial services products and services.
- Experience in the financial services industry, retirement plans and products, brokerage etc., is critical to the success in the role.
- Furthermore, the candidate must be skilled at communication at various levels and to different audiences.
- Advanced understanding of the legislative and regulatory development processes at the federal and state levels and nuisances of decision making in this environment.
- Understanding the executive voice and what matters to them is also needed in the role and mastering different forms of communications is important.
- 10 years experience in a broad based trade association or corporate communications role at the management level
