Statistical Manager – Boston, North

The Statistical Manager role is a senior-level contributing member of our client's Consulting Group. Working closely with Client and Technology teams within our client, the position is accountable for the design and management of various database marketing analytic projects including predictive modeling, segmentation, measurement and profiling.

Responsibilities:

•           Develop new and alternative approaches as needed based on client needs

•           Design,  enhance, implement statistical or quantitative models and interpret such techniques as logistic and linear regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, design of experiments, and CHAID towards business problem

•           Ultimate responsibility for quality and statistical validity of analysis and presentations

•           Provide guidance to team members on relevant analytic techniques and applications, where necessary

•           Provide proficient problem solving and data analysis based on modeling and statistical experience, as well as increasingly broad-based marketing and business experience

•           1-2  direct reports – providing coaching, mentoring and professional development

•           Communicating technical issues clearly to individuals from various backgrounds (Database technical support, client services, business analyst, etc.)

•           Project management, define project scope, execute and evaluate projects, provide the final deliveries and articulate the results to the internal or external clients

Requirements:

•           Masters in Statistics or an equivalent quantitative degree. Five or more years of analytic experience including management of analytic professionals and database marketing experience.

•           Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills a must.  Consultative selling skills highly desirable.

•           Experience in the pharmaceutical industries preferred. Proficient in SAS programming.
