NYC Based search – Vice President, Strategy and Analytic Client Engagement

OVERVIEW:

Our client is a progressive, successful fast moving media measurement firm in NYC with a global client base of household consumer brands.  We are searching for an established Account lead that can both successfully guide major client brand media mix campaigns and additionally manage the data analytics to optimize each programs success.  This position is truly a hybrid role well suited for a candidate who is experienced in handling complex, real time date from clients then using those learning’s to develop a pathway for success.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a (60 person) highly entrepreneurial environment that’s a brain trust of brilliant Ivy Leaguers.  Our Client is extremely collaborative and wants each Team Member to feel a strong part of guiding The Company’s success.

Members of our Client’s Strategy Group have backgrounds with top strategy consulting firms and leading Media Measurement Firms. This position reports into the General Manager of the firm and will work closely with an existing Account Team from Digitas, Wunderman, MMA and Accenture type backgrounds.  The candidate should be a passionate Account Lead who is experience in developing business organically as well.

DAY TO DAYS:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills in strategic analysis, lead a variety of complex strategic and organic business development initiatives and have daily exposure to the GM, CEO & COO.  In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive global initiatives across this entrepreneurial firm products and services.

This position will develop data models that integrate insights for comprehensive and holistic marketing plan based on customer behavior that seek to more effectively use prospect and customer data to produce and execute. Deliver reporting on KPI performance to Client executive level, business managers and other staff to stay on top of key Performance Indicators. Track key business performance metrics and highlight relevant trends.

Refine methods for and oversee the execution of media mix analysis efforts
. Be a point person and thought leader in the definition of marketing strategies for consumer brands. Manage the deployment and oversee the execution of data insights and intelligence service offerings
. Provide expertise, guidance and strategic vision in support of organic business development efforts
.  Work closely with analytics and research groups in the execution of data intensive measurement effort
. Assist in the development and evolution of the practice's strategic offering frameworks.

Potential projects cover a range of strategic initiatives:

  • Drive and execute measurement strategy across all media mix marketing touch points
  • Develop and champion a measurement vision for analytics and optimization
  • Growth opportunities assessment
  • Optimized media measurement and transformation
  • Build intelligence reports and creating marketable data to drive promotions and sales and

taking action on the insights gained through marketing intelligence activity

  • Identify key strategic concepts and frameworks relevant to the company and engage key individuals as appropriate
  • Partner with corporate, segment and business unit leadership to develop strategy and plans to achieve optimal levels of growth and relevance for our businesses

ABOUT YOU:

  • 10+ years of consulting level Account Management, data measurement and analytics experience including 4+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Proven experience with intelligence platforms and developing media mix models including regression analysis and similar
  • Expertise analyzing, interpreting and synthesizing data. Ability to roll-up analysis into prioritized insights. Solid Knowledge of data warehouse reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines, Requires excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Maintain leading knowledge of platform tool enhancements and upgrades, Solid understanding of analytics tagging and tracking/how analytics tool collect data.
  • Solid inter-personal skills; comfortable leading a team and engaging cross-functional partners effectively
