Competitive Intelligence Insights Manager
Overview:
Our client is a leading consumer and B2B marketer who has developed strong customer relationships in a highly competitive market sector. This Competitive Intelligence Insights Manager position work with a market research group leading the analysis, interpretation and communication of insightful market/competitor research in support of new business development, thought leadership and strategic business planning.
Day-to-days:
Track competitive landscape and harness external sales intelligence to uncover new business opportunities and leads for business development team. They will also, explore, evaluate and recommend new research tools and sources. Assist the head of Intelligence in setting the strategic market, competitor and sales research agendas to help achieve organizational goals. They will conduct demand analysis and competitive positioning for the existing strategies and participate in discussions to develop new capabilities.
This position will synthesize quantitative/qualitative intelligence and independently prepare comprehensive research studies on customer segments and behavior strategies; such studies would include market size, growth, structure, key players, barriers to entry, distribution models, competitive advantages/disadvantages.
About you:
5-7 years experience in competitive research experience within consumer, financial services or similar industries. Experience conducting primary research (questionnaire design, sampling, data collection). MBA's are preferred.
