BOSTON – Product Manager for Consumer Health Markets -

Overview:

The Product Manager for Consumer Health Markets is responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure a successful product launch as well as the continued support of existing products.

Day to days:

This position will Leverage new and emerging technologies trends and features to develop and maintain competitive product positioning.  They will use Research and document user, facility, and consumer needs and translate these needs into recommended product improvements and requirements in new products and potential new business opportunities.  The right candidate will serve as the product expert as a liaison to Sales and other functional groups.

This Product Marketing Manager will maintain a complete understanding of competitive product offerings for use in development of product strategies. Develop explanatory materials supporting competitive position. Develop and maintain product specification / information sheets. Make sales presentations as required. Assist in sales training and educational initiatives. Support the marketing in creation of communications collateral, sales support tools, and new product launches.  Provides support for forecasting and market analysis. Assist in developing pricing strategies and maintaining product price lists.

About you:

-Five+ years experience in product management in consumer technology industry.

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Marketing.

-Ability to think critically and strategically.

-Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously

-Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications and project management software

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills

-The ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
