OVERVIEW:
An early-stage SaaS Company is seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Director, Demand Generation & Online Analytics Marketing. This is the last key management position in the company. This is a growth-phase company revolutionizing the way small business owners run their businesses.
This position is a great equity play and is accompanied by both a relocation packaged along with highly competitive compensation package.
DAY-TO-DAYS:
We need somebody who starts talking about customer acquisition immediately. This position talks about the channels on how to get SMBs, about metrics to acquire people, payback periods, split-tests, customer acquisition costs etc. Our Client needs somebody who trusts nothing more than actual tests and data (may be even has an engineering, math, or finance background or that type of mindset) and who knows all involved metrics, can calculate max CAC from CLV, knows what CTRs and CPMs that would result.
Our client also needs someone with experience with retargeting, Facebook Ads & Conversions, maybe LinkedIn PPC, who use tools like Google Analytics, Visual Website Optimizer, may be Unbounce or KissMetrics. This position is for someone who has stayed current and knows all the new channels and tools that have changed Online Marketing
Candidates need to have both start-up & SaaS experience. They have to be able to both conceive and execute customer acquisition strategies by carrying out small experiments, looking at data, deciding whether to kill or invest further, iterating, etc. We are looking for somebody who has built it and has been through a lot of trial and error and finally made things work out.
This position will be the expert in data-driven acquisition marketing. The candidate must have proven experience in customer acquisition and conversion for SaaS / SMB products, and know how to experiment using multiple online channels to find the optimal way to drive rapid growth to our customer acquisition efforts.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate knows every online marketing channel (from SEM & SEO, email, display, to Facebook Ads, Retargeting, Customer Referrals and many more). They need to love data and Google Analytics, KissMetrics, Excel, and other similar tools. Candidates who spends their lunches and dinners drawing out CACs, CLVs, pay-back periods, and resulting needed CRs, CTRs, and CPMs on a napkin will fit nicely.
Most importantly this candidate need to have experience in SaaS / SMB-targeted apps and can not only lead our client in their next stage of customer growth, but is ready to take over marketing leadership up to the finish-line of their start-up.
6+ years of progressive direct marketing experience, mostly in online marketing (B2B arenas and SaaS applications is required)
