BRAND PLANNER

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Researcher
Bringing deep knowledge of primary and secondary research methods: developing creative ways to engage target audiences in conversations about brand and business challenges, scheduling and conducting effective interviews, tracking down and analyzing research, combining research into briefs that help creative teams drive more insightful marketing and help define elite planning best practices, and partnering with our client data/research organizations to maximize their work’s customer insight and marketing program application value.
We also require a candidate who can proactively determine where and how in-depth insight about the consumer’s attitude and behavior can help make our clients’ marketing more successful.

Account and Creative Advisor
Becoming an extension of the account teams, ready to provide insight and counsel on audience needs, buying process, and industry trends. Leading team brainstorms that efficiently produce breakthrough insight and maximize team contributions. Success in this role as an ‘application specialist’ of first- and third-party research also requires good story-telling skills and imagination in presenting insights, as well as the ability to develop internal insight kick-off sessions for client launches, to aid in the development of insightful creative briefs, and to participate in Brand Narrative sessions.

Industry Expert
Staying abreast of major trends in life sciences, healthcare technology and enterprise technology. Familiarity with industry publications, Web sites, and attendance at selected conferences is key to help drive new business activity and client projects.

Media Planning Support
Supporting the media planning team in appropriate engagements, working to uncover audience drivers, buying process, and preferred information consumption in a multi-channel world.

Planning Demand Creation
Creating demand for account planning’s contributions by demonstrating its impact.

The ideal candidate we’re looking for has at least 5 years experience developing and applying breakthrough customer insight in a marketing or professional services firm, as well as exceptional thinking, communication and influence skills, leadership, and energy. Most importantly, we seek candidates with enthusiasm for pushing the frontier of how marketing can evolve in both BtoB and BtoBtoC settings.
