VP, Coalition Marketing Partnership Development

OVERVIEW:

Our client is an S&P listed, fortune 500 retail-based firm with locations in the US, Europe and Asia. They are publically traded and an employee base over 5 thousand people world wide. With known partnerships loyalty programs in place now, this position would actively work on continuing deal/contract development with some of the largest retail vendors in the country. Candidates must have past experience working in the loyalty space and securing co-branded retail branding campaigns between major retail vendors. This position will be slated with building and maintaining brand loyalty partnership programs with a multitude of vendors.

GOALS:

The goal of this position is to secure participation agreements with Retailers to be included in pilot launches for highly data driven customer loyalty programs.  This person will need to have experience in orchestrating retail partnership vendors deals along with having strong past within loyalty marketing & program development. This person will work jointly with all touch point Departments within Customer Marketing, CRM Store Relations and Data Delivery. This VP will work together with the Head of Customer Marketing to jointly source new corporations to join their ever evolving consumer value proposition and promotions around customer acquisition and retention. They will work closely with the field Marketing Team to help justify the success of these programs as well.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should be experts in coalition marketing partnership development

The Clients Marketing Department has been a major support in the firm’s growth.  They have an existing group in place now spanning disciplines in Retention, Acquisition, Digital, Media and PR Brand Awareness Management.  The CEO- President at our Client’s firm is actively involved and passionate about the marketing process along with having a major focus on enhancing the current loyalty development programs and optimizing supporting vendor relationships. DAY-TO-DAYS

The Candidate will devise the marketing strategy and implementation that drives member acquisitions, loyalty, share growth, revenue, and retention to our client’s target base. They will work with an internal marketing agency to develop promotional themes, offers, creative assets, and communication strategy to millions of members. This position will determine the overall go-to-market strategy for loyalty while leveraging a wide array of resources, from our client’s current partners to market research and all in-between.

They will lead development of enterprise-wide loyalty dashboards. Provide quarterly insights based on dashboard metrics. Recommend loyalty programs, accompanied benefits, including financial, service and behavioral targeting that are brand appropriate for our client’s customer and business needs.

This person will establish strategic retention marketing plans and programs to drive traffic that support revenue objectives for our client’s retail channels. In this role, the person will research, analyze, and monitor financial metrics, technological factors, and customer segments to capitalize on retail loyalty marketing opportunities.

This deadline-oriented Leader will manage 6 direct reports with responsibility for 7-8 other marketing associates.

ABOUT YOU:

You must be a loyalty and retention marketing expert at a senior leadership level and have c-level, client facing experience.

Candidates must have a strong history of managing and implementing marketing campaigns across email and direct mail, with additional knowledge of mobile and social media being a plus. Analytical skills along with creativity are a must as well.  This person should be able to decipher marketing results, financials, and metrics to come to sound conclusions.

Experience in customer relationship management/lifecycle management/cross sell is preferred.  Having the ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations is part of the day-to-day tactics.
